Excellent successeur

Best game I've played in a while, but...
The game is fanstastic, and gives me a lot of DA:O vibes with how the camp system and companion dialogue system works. It really feels like you're influencing most of the major events in the story, and has a tremendous amount of side content. The companion characters are really well written, and excellently acted. They all have very unique personalities and the VA's to a great job of portraying them. However, Act3 feels like it was rushed to get the game released so decisions start to not matter as much. This extends to major events surrounding the ending, no spoilers here but I think it's important to point out, where some events play out in a nonsensical way and you completely unable to influence it. You're trapped in making a specific major decision without being able to find am obvious logical alternative that would work for all parties, the game forces you to choose between bad choices. Ther are also some missing aspects in the epilogue that will hopefully be added in patches, they've already added some in Patch 2 so chances are good. Overall the game is excellent, but I hope they rework the ending routes a little to make them more meaningful and give the player more choice.

Good but gets annoying after a while
At first I was amazed by the variety of choice and story and characters and all that, absolutely top notch. But after I don't know how many hours, there are little things that REALLY get under my skin. Subtitles in cutscenes appearing too early and spoiling what's about to happen. A lot of issues with the combat, after many hours I still don't seem to be particualry powerful relative to my enemies, which sort of defeats the point of having levels. Most modern games do this and it's annoying, one hit kills are not a bad thing it means I am powerful which is the reason I play games in the first place!! If I wanted to fail all the time and feel useless I'd just go out and do real life stuff!! But yeah it definitely needs a "I'm useless and terrile especially at video games" mode for people like me, assuming I'm not the only one, which I probably am :(
