As a seriously hearing impared person, having not text, (even though it says it does on store page,) makes this game unplayable for me. Not going to bother trying to get a refund because I got it very cheap on sale. I just wanted to warn those of the deaf and hearing impaired comunity that they might want to avoid this one.

No pixel-hunting in this game
It is more of a narrative story than a puzzle quest. Actually, there are almost no puzzles in this game, barring the story itself. It is way simpler compared to the first three Atlantis games. Also, comparing to them - graphics got better, with free-look feature and a number of cut-scenes. I've got a feeling, that there were more graphic artists working on this game than level designers. Music got a bit different - I personally missed that "Main Atlantis theme", which was common for all first three games. A good point is that there is no pixel-hunting in this game: everything clickable is marked.

Coupez ! COUPEZ TOUT !
"Que se passe t-il ?" Voilà la question qui a hanté mon esprit pendant tout le temps que j'ai joué à ce jeu. Je pense que cette interrogation trouve sa réponse dans le fait que des scènes et tous les puzzles ont sauté. Un exemple tout simple : on parle à quelqu'un, tout va bien et quelques secondes après, on a une cinématique où nous sommes pourchassés. C'est très étrange ! Il manque énormément d'éléments, cela rend cette histoire totalement incompréhensible et bourrée d’incohérences ! Par curiosité, j'ai regardé des vidéos et effectivement : cette version est amputée de beaucoup de contenus ! Au final, ces disparitions rendent cette aventure incroyablement facile. Je n'ai pas du tout été bloqué. Il suffit de suivre le chemin, c'est une promenade. Bon, nous avons des gamer over mais ils ne sont pas pénalisants puisqu'on reprend immédiatement. Les vidéos sont bien réalisées mais je regrette l'absence de sous titres. C'est toujours positif d'en avoir. L'univers dépeint est enchanteur, j'aime beaucoup. On a de beaux décors et le design des personnages est réussi. Hélas, l'absence d'animations dans les environnements fait qu'ils font très artificiels. On est dans la nature et rien ne bouge. L'exemple le plus parlant est le prologue ; nous sommes sur un bateau dans une tempête et on voit dans l'introduction que tout bouge dangereusement. Arrivé en jeu, tout est figé ! L'immersion s'envole ! Atlantis Evolution est probablement un épisode digne de la série. Mais en l'état, je ne peux que vous le déconseiller. Intrigue intéressante mais totalement sabordée. Après, si vous voulez une aventure simple et sans prise de tête : vous y trouverez votre compte.

Sans intérêt
Aucun chalenge, fini en 3h cette suite n'est pas au niveau des 3 premiers épisodes, on ce contente de cliquer sur les flèches sans aucune énigmes à résoudre.

Very weak Atlantis entry
Early Atlantis games captivated interest by the unique fantasy world and characters, unfortunately, the series does not appear to have evolved "Ironically" at all and instead lacks the quality, polish and gameplay of the earlier titles. I was also disappointed by the graphics and art style which for the most part look very underwhelming especially when you consider games such as "Syberia" were released in this era. The issue with this is that the world design itself is the main draw to playing these type of games, whilst the puzzles are just a means to progress in the game to discover and interact more with the world. This game sadly should be avoided if you are a fan of point of click, try earlier Atlantis games instead.
