An excellent Action-Plateformer
One of the best game there is in terms of art direction. A very fun yet epic adventure through Mythology and a real treat for the eyes, I highly recommend it for anyone fan of this style of gameplay, and even for people who aren't fans yet, as this masterpiece will surely convince them.

Unique Take
This game is brilliant! Great story full of twists and turns. the graghics are great, and the art style is perfect. I have only had one mildly agrivating thing with this game. There is a bug where the game will crash randomly. Its normally after playing for a couple hours but still sucks when it happens. The game is worth every penny and I would highly recommend it.

Apotheon uses the tested for mula of metroidvanias and brings its own flavour, the art is striking and strong, although sometimes it might feel to uniform, the sound effects are crisp and the music is fitting with and epic journey, but where it shines the most is in its combat, there is a wide range of melee, ranged and ranged weapons , some more useful than others but you can get creative with your arsenal, the only downside is that there are too many weapons, scrolling through 15 slots to use the one you want is annoying at best, you can choose not to pick up a weapon to reduce this, but it doesn't work well all the time (oyu0ll be picking useless weapons while trying to pick up a really useful one. Overall, great game, tons of fun.

Metroidvania set in ancient Greece
I may be biased because I'm a big fan of Metroidvania platform games. This game is definitely a good Metroidvania-ish game, even though it can be a little bit of hack and slash at times. The artstyle may become a bit repetetive / boring after a while, but it's definitely not bad. There's plenty of places to explore and/or break into if you want, but watch out for the guards... The bosses can be challenging in their own ways. There's plenty of different melee and ranged weapons at your disposal, also traps, shields, potions.. and miscellaneous items that can be used in a little bit of crafting. All in all I really enjoyed this game. Can recommend if you like platformers.

The gameplay is awesome, and the artwork is mesmerizing! It feels like an ancient Greek vase has come to life and I'm completing those ancient missions. It's easy to learn and not too hard to master."
