Repetitive and shallow
It's a blend of CIV with turn based combat. Playing this felt like a chore.

Age of DLC IV
More cardboard cutout map-painting from a developer and publisher who wants yet more of your money and isn't afraid to use its loathesome DLC to ensure you cough up, no matter the poor quality. Age of Wonders franchise you were a romp backi in the day. Farewell!

Needs priviledged access on Windows 8.1
Won't run without administrator rights. Can't launch from within Galaxy - starts installing launcher and fails. I wonder what they need priviledged access for? Totally not shady at all /s. Also, for the price they charge such schoolboy errors are kinda gross.

Not as good as AoW3
So it basicly takes the older game and dumbs it down for the Civ fans to play it. Combat is easier and less stragitic. Less specialization then AoW3. Less units then AoW3. Basicly less of everything. AoW3 is better and you can get all the dlc for 60 bucks.
