good game for those with limited time
I enjoy playing as I can complete a settlement in usually a few hours and not forget what I was thinking.

Solid game
Played 100's of hours and keep coming back. Like the increasing scale of difficulty as you get farther out. The rewards will sometimes force you into an aspect of the game you have been ignoring.

Unique take on RTS
I admittedly bought this thinking it was a city builder. It is not. It is a real time strategy without combat. First game like that I've seen and that's a big reason for the high score. It's remarkably different from anything else I've encountered and I think others should take a stab at it for that sake. I've only succeeded on the low difficulty. Initially, even then I thought the game was too hard, I still won. It's not traditionally difficult, but more that you're constantly under pressure to do something, anything. There's bars and meters and stockpiles to watch, a thousand things to keep up with. Plenty of times, I'd end up staring at a woodcutter, trying to miracle him to chop faster. It's easy to get overwhelmed despite winning. On the higher difficulty, "viceroy" it was a near instant loss. The forrest gets angry about woodcutters and everybody runs away. (Yes really, the forest gets grumpy and scares people.) Extra dynamics, which I did not survive long enough to deal with, are put in to add yet more meters to watch and things to keep up with. Even in my dreams, the land of magic and dragons, can't conjure up a solution to it all. Some guides can be found online, which were mildly helpful. With that rant out of the way, I still find it interesting and will continue playing and experimenting. Give it a shot; see something new and weird. And if you're one of those people who trives under pressure, I bet you'll love this.

Impressive Early Release
Impressive & very polished for an 'Early Access' game. This game does not hold your hand & will frustrate those who lack imagination & dislike puzzle type decisions combined with problem solving elements. It is a pauseable 'rts' while playing against a timer of sorts. Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam for a reason.
