Awesome, hilarious, runs well on wine
This game is awesome, the controls are tight and keyboard/mouse very usable which is unusual for a 3d platformer. The dialogue is hilarious in addition to many amusing tidbits spread through the world. Soundtrack is over 5 hours long and I love almost all of it. It would be good if the soundtrack where available without buying the game as it stands well by itself. If you aren't getting it due to lack of a Linux port, the game is almost flawless under wine.

A short but fun and charming game
Everybody who loves some 3D Mario games will love this. Gamplaywise Mario is harde but the Bossfights that Hatgirl is fighting are much more fun and objectivly better designed. The worlds are beautifully crafted and the missions get better over time. The main goal in this game is to collect things from hourglases to yarns and some green gems which are the currency of the game, but the collecting part is really well implemented, nothing feels forced to much instead it bundeld with fun tto discover the world. And Hatgirl is inreadible cute, with her emotes and voice.

Too ambitious for it's own controls
I really wanted to like this game. It looked like a fun little game and had a sense of humor that permeated the game and legitimately made me smile more often then not. But the game underneath it is just not as good as it needs to be to support this and well below the standards of yesteryear it's taking it's inspirations from. The precision of the controls, despite the game demanding more from them, is just not up to that demand. And then we have some just plain strange and poor choices that get in the way of playing. The game frankly trips over itself.
