I've been playing the game normally for the last couple of days, and played it this morning, but right now I tried and got an "Authentication Failed" message that tells me to log in via the game launcher or Steam. I'm on a Mac using the GOG Launcher which actually doesn't request my username/password, but was working fine until now. Has anything changed? do I need to login somehow now?

Please send your logs to us. Instruction can be found here: http://www.gog.com/forum/witcher_adventure_game_the_online_beta/game_launcher_feedback_post_here/post1.
For now try removing these files (if exist) and restart the Launcher:
1. /tmp/galaxyservice.txt
2. /Users/Shared/Galaxy/Tokens.json
3. In worst cases feel free to remove whole "/Users/Shared/Galaxy" folder.

psuomega: I'm experiencing the same issue as the OP, minus being able to connect previously. I was emailed my Beta key today from GoG. I downloaded and installed the client from the GoG site. I did not use the GoG client. I installed directly from the .dmg file. I was able to log into the Galaxy client with no issues and view the tutorial. When I click the Play Online button, I receive the error message in red: Authentication Failed. In white below the message is The Witcher Adventure Game is currently available only to players participating in the multiplayer beta. Please make sure that you are logged in (via the game launcher or Steam) to an account invited to the beta and try again.

Ver: TR030 2014-07-10

I've tried to follow the instructions previously given, including deleting the whole /Users/Shared/Galaxy folder, but that did not resolve the issue.

I can't attach my logs to this post. It's only letting me choose an image file.
Try removing a file /tmp/galaxyservice.txt if exists and restart your machine, see if that helps.

Which OS, could you send your logs to us? Here's the instruction.

Apparently gog_launcher_feedback@gog.com doesn't exist. Wtf?
That was a temporary problem - sorry for the trouble :( Could you resend the log please...?

Out of curiosity - do you get the message "Galaxy Updater encountered an error and could not continue: Updater failed moving files" when starting the launcher? That would be the root cause of your problem. Your logs would be very helpful :)

Neqi: i got the same problem get beta codes on my mail today download game and when i click play online i get "Authentication Failed" message that tells me to log in via the game launcher or Steam." . Ill try reinstal game many times ,restart computer , delete galaxyclient folder from my program files , i have vista and nothing works plz help i cant play :(
Hi Neqi, please make sure you launch the game using the launcher - in this beta it won't work when launched directly. So, uh, please don't delete galaxyclient folder from program files :)

Neqi: hello thx for fast answer i use gog launcher 0.1.0.398 it came with game instal and i try lunch game directly frome game folder exe nothing works both give me authentication failed :(

Great, we got the logs. We're looking it.

Do you have any firewall installed, like Windows Defender? Did you have to click some confirmation to allow the launcher to communicate with the internet?
