GrimTuesday: I am trying to register my copy to get the first patch (hopefully rebalance on combat will help me get past that first balista part!), but I keep on getting a connection error.

Where has the "group style" gone! I really miss it, though I can see liking the new combat system too.
GOG's version is the most current patched one at the moment. So you won't get any new patches by registering right now.
