Doof1234: I am using Windows 8 Pro 64 bit.

The game I am attempting to install is Tesla Effect and Tex Murphy Overseer.

Anyone else getting this error?

How do I deal with this error?

As soon as I download a game and try to run the EXE installer, it returns this error. I don't know what to do with it because I am using an Administrator account, and I should have full permissions. I have tried disabling UAC, but it still returns the error.
