Siegor: Not sure if this is related to the patch or just me but the game now starts in windowed mode even if you tick "fullscreen" in options. Alt+enter fixes it but you need to do it everytime.
Where do you have the game installed? Perhaps try running it as Admin, change the options, save them, quit the game and then run it as a regular user?
