Hey guys,

Just wanted to answer the initial question about the update. The version on GOG in the latest PC one. There was a small update on Steam post-launch but as far as we know it only fixed an issue that was not present in GOG build (we are confirming it now). In addition, the online functionality seems to working (I'm playing the game now and it's working fine).

Cheers,
Paczyk

DarkLord79: I also wanted to post this yet there is a "__redist" folder in the game folder of the GOG version containing the VC++ redistributables. Thus I assume the GOG version installs them properly beforehand.

But people having problems might still try running the installers from the __redist folder.
This :). Please also ensure your drivers are up to date.

Also, we've confirmed that the patch on Steam was a Steam related fix. So, your version is up to date. If any do come in overnight, we'll do what we can to get them out ASAP

dognosh: lets say there is another patch soon, how do we update game or is it automatic ?
If you're using Galaxy and have updates for No Man's Sky automatically enabled (in the settings section for the game in your library), then it will automatically update once a patch becomes available. If you're using our website installers, then the patch will either be provided separately, or a brand new installer will be provided (you'll know it's a new installer because the gog number will change (currently it's gog-2)
