Anyone else having mouse issues with this game? My trackpad on my netbook works fine, but my mouse is jerky and laggy to the point that it is impossible to use. Definitely not the mouse either, because outside the game it works perfectly.

It's pretty annoying trying to play the game with a trackpad.

This doesn't happen in the menus, just in-game.

Try disabling your mouse acceleration, i did it with mine on its menus (razer synapse software) and works fine.
Hmm, I strongly suspect it as something to do with performance. The game doesn't lag, but I have the mouse issues in high-population areas. If I go to an area with few NPCs it works perfectly fine.

Just odd that the trackpad isn't showing the same behaviour.
I don't have any particular lag, but sometimes my mouse start working in... reverse.
Only in game by the way, if I go back to menu it works fine, if I'm in game at those moments though, my mouse movements are inverted. And it kinda goes away without much notice.
No particular link to crowded areas too since it happened when I was alone, just trying to see my inventory and click on a damn potion.

Other times, I have the hummm how canI call that... fleeing mouse ?
A mouse completely unable to mouse straight.
When it's inverted I can get the hand of it, but other times it just tries very hard to avoid some objects it seems. Not sure how to describe that. Also no link to particularly crowded areas.

Saving then restarting game fixes it.

edit : nevermind, mine is just the negative effet of confusion

Running an Intel Core i7 and an nVidia GeForce 460m and still having this issue.

Tried disabling v-sync in the nVidia menu, but the mouse is making the game unplayable at almost all standard resolutions.

Try to write a PM to Kovi since he belongs to the developers and could help you. Or at least he could remark it for the planned patch.
I think it is something game related. In my case, I only have mouse problems when I am under the confuse spell or something. I think it is something game-wise. When you are under the spell, the mouse is weird, so it is harder to drink potions. Try waiting for the spell to wear off. If the mouse still moves weird, I do not lnow.
Most of my mouse issues disappeared after I switched to a very high resolution. You might try that.
I have the exact same problem. I have Intel GMA x4500. I thought it was the problem with my intergrated graphic card at first. I disabled my mouse acceleration via control panel but no avail.

All I did was, I restart my computer and voila, the mouse problem is gone.
Don't know if this method will work for you but it worked for me though.
Just wanted to point out, this is my first time playing the game again since last year and still have this issue. I can use the trackpad just fine, but the mouse is completely unusable.

Entered Hillbrandt and the mouse barely even moves. Playing with a trackpad isn't really ideal. Anyone have a known fix for this?

Well, I picked up a cheap $10 no frills, no special features mouse and it seems the issue has gone away.

It really sucks that I have to use a different mouse to play the game instead of the mouse I spent $50 on. Would be nice if the devs could look into this issue and fix it, because it seems pretty widespread and expecting everyone who has the issue to go buy a new mouse isn't exactly ideal either.
