I just downloaded the current version to check out and it installs with 16-bit stereo as default. If in doubt, you should have 'Launch Settings' shortcut either in game folder or Start Menu. Through it you can check original game (not DOSBox) settings and see which audio is set in-game.

Like I wrote, there is a shortcut both in Start Menu and in game folder ('Launch Settings'). Both point to setup.exe (not install.exe) where you can check / change original sound settings.

I know for fact it is included in our installer, as I just downloaded and installed it. Maybe you have one of the earlier builds, in that case, please just redownload the latest one from your account.

Please let us know where you downloaded your game from, as your installer is pretty much obsolete.

We have long since introduced a new installer, which merges the old version with all updates that were released so far. It is available for download on all accounts on which the game is purchased.

HOMM8695: Unfortunately I don't have, because I had to remove what was unused, via email, and then do not even know where is this order code ID.
In any event, please just log into whatever account you used to purchase this game and redownload the installer. It is the only reasonable solution in this case, especially considering HoMM's installer is relatively tiny.

HOMM8695: Great news: i've installed on DOSBox, SETUP.exe, the SoundBlaster 16 sound card, and works correctly, but...no music! How to fix it?
It'll be easiest to just download the updated version - simply hover your mouse over "account", click "library", pick the game and download it ;) then it's bound to work :)
