"Sorry, slight bug with that. You just need to start a new game, then quit the game and restart and it will be properly full screen. We'll fix it in next update."

leonardmccoy: Another user reports that you can apparently also modify the shortcut to force fullscreen mode, like so:

"Take the game shortcut, right click, properties, in Target box just add -fs after the quotation marks."
