JaqFrost: We have a new community manager? O.o I must have missed that announcement too. I have really liked that we're sort of left to our own devices on the forum and can have critical opinions, so hopefully there's no change to that.

F4LL0UT: I don't think there was an announcement but in one of the more recent release threads some blue woman posted something recently and admitted that she's new (I think after JMich asked who she is). In another thread Judas mentioned that she's the community manager. I think she also mentioned that she's responsible for the tweets and Facebook posts.
Hi! Yes, that's me :) Nice to meet you, sorry it's happening in rather unfortunate circumstances ;) But yes, I manage Twitter and Facebook, and will appear a bit on the forums as well - NOT to delete posts and threads or be the Opinion Police, but rather to organise contests and do some other (hopefully) fun stuff in the future :)

But back to the topic: the had a glitch and the EULA/DRM thread got deleted as a result. We're not censoring your conversations - the feedback you give is actually really valuable, both when positive and negative, and part of some of our jobs is to listen in on what's going on, so deleting stuff would really be counterproductive for all parties involved ;)

I have sent a pretty please with a cherry on top to our developers asking if there's a way we could get the thread back up - but they might be swamped with other projects, so if it requires more than a bit of work, it might not be possible. I'll keep you posted on this and let you know if (when?) the thread will be up again.

TL;DR: I'm the community manager, here to share game news and contests, not to be the Opinion Police. The thread disappeared due to a glitch, we'll see if we can restore it. :)

JaqFrost: So we have a secret community manager whom no one but Judas knows? Well, I suppose people who use social media knows her too... It would have been nice with an introductory post, though. I've always liked that the GOG forum is like going to your neighborhood pub -- familiar faces and a sense of community.
Hey, I'm not secret, they don't keep me in the basement with no windows and doors, I swear!

I've appeared here and there, I just don't want to spam every thread with hellos, and intro threads where everyone comes and inspects the new blue-named person seem a bit like a "look at this curious new specimen in the science lab" event. ;)
