JudasIscariot: I was thinking it would have an isometric sort of perspective or something old school-ish and you couold perform various activities such as:
casing potential cars
purchasing equipment
running a seemingly legitimate business front (daytime)
chop shop activities (working on the cars, theft, etc all at night)
recruitment of henchmen
I think it could work...
etna87: Both of the ideas presented here sound fun to me, unlike pretty much all of the other simulators available... although I imagine them not as pure simulators, but with a "business" side involved. And humor is of course desirable and maybe even necessary.
When I first read "chop shop simulator", I thought of a slaughterhouse simulator. That would be another idea, but I can imagine the outrage it would cause ;-) (probably similar to a morgue simulator)
Oh, and about the rock/paint dry simulators: This sounds like silly fun to me. I would not buy them and probably only look at them or play for ~1 minute, but if other people find it funny enough to pay for it, why not... I don't really care about Greenlight, so I have no idea about the problems with Greenlight others mention.
Well, I was thinking it could be something like The Guild in terms of presentation and maybe a dash of Gangsters style gameplay :)
