Kentor: I'm using Chrome while browsing the site, and I noticed every now and then the page will forget I'm a beta user, hence I have to go through the process of entering in the beta access key again. Is this a server side issue unrelated to Chrome or a Chrome issue?

Hmm, maybe your browser automatically clears your cookie files (on quit or after some time)? As the cookies store the information on your beta / early access, removing them would cause the effect exactly as you've described.
