Gathering resources such as herbs etc, and other mundane tasks, is very relaxing and not at all frustrating.
Taking a longer break from doing actual quests and just collecting as many different herbs as possible is a lot of fun :) (doing exactly that in Kingdom Come right now... my herbalism/alchemy levels are skyrocketing).
