I happened to notice a comment in the Indiegala email they sent as order confirmation asking to redeem the keys as soon as possible. While they mention that keys are never removed, they also state that some keys will be returned to the devs after 60 days. FYI.

Don't worry. They can only return keys that they haven't actually given out. That is why you explicitly need to hit a button on indiegala to get each individual key.

Actually revoking keys is something Valve discourages so it a combersome process devs rarely bother doing.
