NuffCatnip: Bought the game and I have to say, I either suck pretty bad or the game is infuriatingly hard. :/
The game may have defaulted to the Bedlam difficulty setting. Can you check what difficulty you are playing on?

tritone: Help! I have downloaded and installed this game on two different computers... one Windows XP and the other Windows 7, and the game begins with the OPTIONS window open... and I can't dismiss the window! It's some kind of a overlay where the game background is fogged-over (dark grey) but is semi-transparent. When I click the "X" button to close OPTIONS, I can see things changing (dimly) through the grey overlay, and I can even click on the desktop menu options (e.g. the "Arcade" option)... but the OPTIONS window still obscures the game. I hear a little metallic "clank" when I try to dismiss the OPTIONS window, but it does NOT go away.

On two computers! I'm trying to re-download the game now and see if I can reinstall it. Very puzzled at the moment. Hope somebody has heard of this or knows how to help. Thanks!

EDIT: The version of the game (from the name of the file) appears to be version 2.0.0.2. I also started a topic in the game's Forum, but hopefully this might get a little wider viewing here. https://www.gog.com/forum/skyshines_bedlam_redux/options_screen_wont_dismiss

I also created a report and sent it to SUPPORT for assistance. I can't even Google anybody having this same problem.
You should be able to see the actual game version by putting the game in windowed mode and look in the upper left corner :)

tritone: The title bar says "Skyshines BEDLAM 05.03.16". Is there a later version I should have? I still can't play the game past the "OPTIONS" window that can't be dismissed. :(
No, that's the latest version. Just making sure everything is where it should be regarding the game version. Listen, make me a screenshot and send me a link to it and I'll see about getting it sent where it needs to go. Can't guarantee any miracles but it's worth a shit :)

Ah and some basic system info (OS, what card and drivers and the like), please.
