The battlefields are alive with the sound of music

The Banner Saga Soundtrack and Skyshine's BEDLAM Soundtrack are now available in both FLAC & MP3 formats, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Your caravan is battle worn and hungry, trudging through the harsh nordic lands. But aside from your dogged persuasion to reach salvation, there's one more thing that keeps your people inspired: the wonderful Banner Saga Soundtrack, composed by the BAFTA-winning human composer Austin Wintory.

Your other caravan is thirsty, crammed inside the beastly Dozer that's making its way through the unforgiving desert. But at least they have the Skyshine's BEDLAM Soundtrack keeping them company on the road.

Take turns bashing the skulls of the Dredge or the horrible desert mutants and listening to The Banner Saga Soundtrack or the Skyshine's BEDLAM Soundtrack, DRM-free on GOG.com, in both FLAC & MP3 formats.

adaliabooks: That's a very interesting way to describe someone... human composer as opposed to what? Alien? Machine?

:/
Varl :)

maladr0Id: Varl :)

adaliabooks: I don't know how to tell you this... but Varl's aren't real...

Plus I don't think they have the BAFTAs in the world of The Banner Saga.
Why did you have to tell him!?!

You've broken him now... we won't be able to get copy for days :(

Gredoch: The "game" card for the Banner Saga 2 OST lists only the MP3 version?
If we ever get the FLAC version, we'll add it :)

HypersomniacLive: The Banner Saga Soundtrack deal, just like the Banner Saga 2 Soundtrack one, is not good enough, sorry. One can get it on Bandcamp for $5, and it comes with a few more formats.
One can convert FLACs to any format they desire to any bitrate and the like since FLACs are lossless :)

Like I said, if we get the FLAC version of BS2's OST, we'll add it.

IAmSinistar: True. But if you're selling the same lumber as another store, and they sell it cheaper, and they also cut it to fit, you're not very competitive. :)

But that's a bit apples-and-oranges, since Bandcamp is a music store and GOG is a game store which is offering a sideline is very specific music. Some folks like having all their stuff in one place, so it's a good solution there. And of course you may be able to offer soundtracks that BC does not.
I get the point you're making here buuuut audio conversion doesn't require heavy machinery :P Also, most audiophiles will probably have a preferred bitrate for their various formats whereas Bandcamp may or may not have a different bitrate than what an audiophile will prefer :)

HypersomniacLive: I'm fully aware of this, but... what IAmSinistar said, and I can still do what you suggest using the FLAC I get from Bandcamp at a better price. ;-)
If it's any consolation, we don't set the prices for these kind of things (as you know already :) ) so it's a wee bit out of our control :)
