Where syndicates reign supreme...

Satellite Reign an open world, modern spiritual successor to Syndicate, is available now, DRM-free on GOG.com with full support for GOG Galaxy achievements and leaderboards! Blow past the corporate ladder at 20% off for the first week.

If you asked half the crew at GOG.com what their favorite game of all time is, a good chunk of us would say Syndicate. While the dirty cyberpunk settings and hard-as-nails gameplay did give us years and years of classic gaming to come back to, Satellite Reign may just be the breath of fresh, corporate espionage air that we've been waiting for.
Satellite Reign, from the very days of its conception, was a modern Syndicate in everything but the name. A gritty cyberpunk world ruled by malicious megacorps, and a squad of professionals prepared to take down the system. You'll get to roam around a huge and filthy, open-world city which isn't just cool, but also gives you a fantastic tactical freedom in how you tackle each mission - there is no one right way to achieve your ends. Between tons of high-tech goodness and customization, there is an ever-present Syndicate feel to the game with one unquestionable improvement - freedom, freedom is in the musty air.

For more Satellite Reign goodness, you can also pick up the Original Soundtrack, Art Book, and a prequel Novella!

Return to the Syndicate, in spirit, with Satellite Reign, available now - DRM-free on GOG.com The launch promo will last until Friday, September 4, 13:59 PM GMT.

Zoidberg: No idea what this is. Also, when you say it's compatible with those Galaxy features, you don't need Galaxy to run to play this, right?
Galaxy is needed if you want its features, like mentioned achievements / leaderboards. It is not required for playing the game.

bssybeep: Anybody having issues with saving? I tried to save the game after the tutorial and I got a save game exception, galaxy.API.GalaxyInstance...
Hi,

We reported this issue and we'll have fix for this very soon :) Sorry for the hassle but this will be fixed :)

Nirth: GOG signs contracts with publishers. Maybe publishers demand them to be sold separately so GOG has to accept it if they want the games here at all. I wonder though how much they would really lose if they compensated for paid extras.

Trilarion: Can you imagine that GOG once sold whole games plus extras for $6? Now even a soundtrack is sold for more.
And we still do this :) Just because newer games have soundtracks for sale doesn't mean we are going to make the old games the same way :) Keep in mind that these days the OSTs are made by independent artists, for the most part, and that's why soundtracks are sold the way they are :)

moonshineshadow: Since they are sold seperately, it would be nice if we would be allowed to buy them without owning the game, perhaps we just want to listen to some music and support the artist :P
The best thing I can recommend is to make a site feature wishlist entry then :)
