<span class="bold">Republique: Episode 5</span> of the story-based stealth/adventure, is available now for Windows and Mac, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Episode 5 concludes the series with a bang, bringing along numerous performance fixes and improvements. It also introduces new gameplay elements and some surprising narrative-branching that might even prompt you to replay the story from its very beginning.

<span class="bold">Republique</span> is a story of Hope - the girl who reaches out for your help. You'll view the world through scattered cameras and mobile devices observing, and assisting, Hope in any way that you can. With plenty of secrets and lore (and even easter eggs) to soak in, you'll slowly pick up on bits and pieces of the story of a fugitive heroine in a mysteriously oppressed dystopian future.

<span class="bold">Republique Deluxe Edition</span> includes the original Soundtrack, a six-part series The Making of Republique, and two game prototypes that eventually came to be Republique. If you're not ready to commit just yet, you can always get the upgrade later.

PS: any particular reason for that morning launch?
The actual launch time is 9 PM Pacific Standard Time, which is quite early in Poland :D

Zoidberg: So this is an interesting premisse, a decent port apparently. And ladies and gents, NO REGIONAL PRICING (from where I stand at least)!

I'll keep this wishlisted while waiting for reviews. :)

edit: mmh, the deluxe upgrade seems a bit high, but hey depending on the soundtrack (the only thing that matters in this), it could be worth it.

Daliz: Just a heads up for Linux users, there might be a Linux version in the future. I'll keep it wishlisted. :)

We would love to support SteamOS / linux! However, there is currently no ETA, but we are working with our middleware vendor to support the platform.

Well, the game is made with Unity 5 so the possibility of a Linux port is high but it's up to the devs, though :)

So you and everyone else can have the option of getting the additional items just like everyone else instead of having just the basic version of the game here and no choice as to whether to buy the Deluxe Edition or not :)

Zoidberg: Did you mean that by getting the deluxe you get a soundtrack per episode? I thought it was in the basic edition. If that's true then sorry for the misunderstanding. :P
Each episode has its own soundtrack consisting of around 11-13 tracks :) So once we get the other episodes, we *should* get more individual soundtracks :)

Tech demos and early versions before the game was called "Republique" :)

Bought it a couple months ago, but didn´t want to play it with a missing episode.

Is episode 5 live already ? I didn´t get a library update prompt.
Yes, it's live :) The flag may have gotten lost in the Insomnia shuffle but I did flag the new offline installers for both Windows and Mac :)

A month or so ago there was only 3 episodes of making-of, last two were missing, even though Episode 4 was released by then.
We're waiting on the Episode 5 bonus content. The Episode 4 items are already added, just redownload the soundtrack and the "making of.." :)
