Ghorpm: Thanks for the heads-up. But oh well, that means I'm done with Kerberos Productions. I'm not against DLCs per se but I don't like milking customers for additional character and minor changes in the gameplay. Advanced Edition of FTL was added for free and from what I can tell it contained more then three last DLCs for the Pit combined. I'm always willing to pay for an extra campaign, significant changes but a new character, a few items and recipes just won't do.
My response is biased as I work here and all so take what I say with a grain of salt :)

While a class DLC may look like a money grab on the surface, you have to take into consideration the amount of testing for balance and bugs that goes into these kind of things. Not only do you have to test for balance and functionality but you also have to make sure that a particular class has its own flavor and doesn't feel like a reskin of another already established class.

Please note that I have no insider knowledge into how Kerberos goes about developing a class for the game but from reading their forums I think they take balance and fun quite seriously :)

IronArcturus: I'm wondering if it will be possible to have some kind of single installer for SOTS in the future. Right now there are apparently 6 separate installers for SOTS, and it's becoming very unruly trying to get a stable complete install as a result. A lot of people on GOG really want one installer for this game! Would it be possible for GOG to at least have one installer with the first 2 DLC's?
If there's ever a GOTY version of the game made, we'll be glad to have it :)
