muntdefems: And this, boys and girls, is the lie of Capitalism. 'Free market' and 'economic realities' my ass. The game is rigged so it always benefits one of the players. Fuck this game. :\
Well, and I speak as someone who remembers the stamps we had in Poland during our "reglamentation" period and the long lines for bread, the alternatives are no better :P

Not trying to start a political discussion but I thought I would give my bit o' input on the matter.

PaterAlf: I'm pretty sure there must be a middle ground somewhere. ;)
Eh, I suppose. I am no expert on economic systems but I sure as heck would not want to live in anything that can be described as a "centrally planned economy".

muntdefems: As promised, here's v2.0 of 'Regional pricing on GOG.com', as of 27 June 2017.

I've added some more statistics an a full list of regional prices (sorted by discount/surcharge) to each region.

PS: I'm gonna poke Judas (the only blue I could think that has posted in this thread) in case the powers that be can/wanna do something about some of the obvious erroneous prices. After all, in the end it's GOG who's paying for the surcharges, so I guess it's in their best interest to fix the most ridiculous ones. :)

mrkgnao: Reviving this thread to report a new GOG curiosity.

Yesterday, GOG reduced the base price for two games --- Dead Synchronicity: Tomorrow Comes Today and Last Tinker™: City of Colors, The from $19.99 to $9.99. In the process, someone got things a bit wrong, I believe. Here are the new full prices of these games in select countries.

Dead Synchronicity
Russia (RU) --- $30.90 (was $9.65)
China (CN) --- $45.39 (was $11.19)
Ukraine (UA) --- $64.99 (was $9.65) [same story also in Nine Former Soviet Republics (RegUZ)]
Norway (NO) --- $85.99 (was $21.83)

Last Tinker
Russia (RU) --- $30.90 (was $5.78)
China (CN) --- $45.39 (was $11.19)
Norway (NO) --- $85.99 (was $19.99)
That is curious indeed. Thank you for pointing that out, we are looking into it. =)

Alright, it got pretty far I see.

In such cases, please open a support ticket so our team can investigate all of this with other teams internally :)

I checked your tickets and I am afraid I can't say more that it has been already said by an agent. Sometimes there is nothing more support can do than to forward such cases :( There are many things to be taken into consideration and it takes time as well as resources.

Please reach out to me on chat if you have any more questions ;)
