I'm amazed that GOG's staff hasn't put IP filtering to check for sockpuppeting. Any decent forum/server logging has this capability built in. It would literally remove the majority of these situations.

That would require work. I have no idea how many times I or others have contacted them about this, and also our ruined rep scores and they wouldn't even fix the rep scores.

For posterity, the same scammer also made *another* account (ljy0un with the same avatar as ljyoun) to social engineer the key out of me via confusion. He deduced that ljyoun was the winner and contacted me while I had my chat turned on. This should probably be reported or logged to the scammer wiki.
