ElricofMelnibone: I just started playing the game and the game always crashes after I have been given the sword and run away into the forest. I even lowered the graphics settings and loaded the game again but it keeps crashing at the same point in the scene every time.

Is there a way to fix this or is the save game lost? The game also crashed at another point but that could be fixed by reloading. Does anyone know what causes these crashes and how they can be fixed?
