DaSchneida: Hi there everyone. I just bought the DLC to Democracy 3 (Social Engineering), however it seems, it is impossible for me to install it. When I try to do so I get the error message "This version of core game is not supported." as well as the information to update the game to the latest version.

The real problem now is that there currently does not seem to be a patch. Right now I run version 2.5.0.8 according to the version number of the installer. Am I missing something?
Hi,

Do you have patch_democracy3_2.5.1.9.exe downloaded? The link for the patch is right under the main installer link for the German version.

edit: install that path first then try installing the DLC. If none of that works, please write to our Support department :)

JamesBond007: Not related to the problem, but this DLC has a typo on the gamecard - it says "Downloadable content for Democracry 3".

Actually I am using the English version of the game and for that one no patch is shown in the menu. I just tried to switch to German and load the respective patch. That really worked like a charm! I can also install the DLC now.

edit: Sorry I marked the wrong answer as the solution and I unfortunately can't figure out how to switch the marking.

Glad to hear you got everything sorted although keep in mind that the DLC will be displayed in English even in the German version of Democracy 3. The German version of the DLC is coming, though :)
