At GOG, we are on a mission to make games live forever by helping people across generations fall in love with games. We are looking for a candidate to support our accounting team in the role of the Accounting Assistant.
Responsibilities:
- Posting accounting documents ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
- Support the reconciliation of customer accounts, including investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes
- Supporting month-end closing tasks
- Verify and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Provide support during audits by supplying necessary documentation and information
- Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned by senior staff
Job Requirements:
- Financial education background (degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field or in progress)
- Good command of Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and willingness to learn
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Communicative English (both written and spoken)
