Great game!
I wholeheartedly recommend this game to anyone who enjoyed Lemmings series in the 1990s. The zombies are similar in that they have no objections against falling off the cliffs, but the things you can do with them are actually quite different from the traditional lemming games. First of all, there is no real limit on any single skill that your herd can use, but rather a shared pool of "DNA" which basically means points that you spend to get your zombies do something else than walk forward and eat brains. Second, remember these "stopper" guys that you had to place around all the time to prevent your lemmings from falling into abyss? Well, here they are "overseer" zombies that, apart from forcing others to walk in a specific direction, can also be given super-powers such as speeding them up or throwing them high into the air, which lets you reach seemingly inaccessible ledges. While the difficulty curve might seem a bit easy at first, it escalates in the later stages to a point where you actually have to do some thinking to get through to the next level. For those who want an acutal challenge, there is an extra objective on each map, and it varies very strongly, (ranging from "kill every single human" to "do not let any civilians die"). On other maps you are not allowed to use some particular abilities if you want to score the achievement. All in all, the developers managed to let in some fresh air to an excellent traditional game while preserving the fun factor. Bonus points for making the player The Bad Guy, and some cheesy humour!
