Zeus + Poseidon (Acropolis)

I used to play this a hell lot when I was young, it was one of the first games I ever played on PC and everytime I play it I enjoy it even more. This game is gold!

I played this game from the time it came out (I was in sixth grade) until now (I'm in graduate school). This game is pure fun with an excellent soundtrack and is wonderfully voiced. I have bought this game on three separate occasions due to disc failure (damn I loved that game).

Like many other reviewers have noted, Zeus fixes many if not all of the annoying features of the previous games, the best improvement for me is that you no longer need to build shrines and temples all over the place to keep people happy; religion is more of a goal than a necessity. The game is also very simple to understand and get the hang of but does provide some challenging missions and maps. I personally rate this as the best out of Caesar, Pharaoh and Emperor. The addition of Atlantis spices up the original game with some new and interesting temples and a larger focus on culture. Well worth the price tag!

When I was younger I had Caesar 3, 4 and Pharaoh and loved them all. I never got the chance to play Zeus & Poseidon. When I saw that GOG added it recently I quickly bought it simply because I loved it's predecessors (Caesar 3, 4, & Pharaoh). It was money well spent. I'm having tons of fun playing this game and I hope one day GOG will add the others.

This is the best game I have ever played. I had it as a kid and found an old copy to replay several years ago. Round three is just as fun as the first. It has long been my favourite.
