Join Brian Pasternack, a young man with no future in a dystopian 90s society, on his first day at one of the world’s largest companies, Sintracorp. Uncertain, unprepared, and massively unqualified, will Pasternack have what it takes to shine in Sintracorp’s hierarchy? It all depends on how he performs on his first assignment… and whether he survives it.
During his unconventional employee orientation, Pasternack discovers what his new job really entails: hunting a “witch” whose powers made the success of the corporation possible in the first place, but who now seems to have returned to torment its employees. Brian will meet all kinds of odd characters, escape from terrible creatures, and unravel the hidden secrets of Sintracorp’s dark past.
During Brian's Time at Sintracorp, you will:
Familiarize Yourself with Your Workspace: Use the elevator to discover who’s working and what’s lurking on every floor of Sintracorp.
Learn Office Protocol: Learn when to chat, when to work, and when to cower in terror from otherworldly beings.
Engage in Watercooler Conversation: Investigate your co-workers and discover their sordid, blood-soaked secrets.
Consider your five-year goal: Only you can choose how this story will end, so make your decisions carefully!
Assess health and safety: Use different light methods to light your path and reveal what is breathing in the dark.
Conduct a Rigorous Personal Assessment: Find clues, solve riddles, discover new paths - all without letting the Witch catch you!

Lots of endings, great plot, interesting gameplay, high replayability and not long ago was released version 2.1, so i just have to replay to see what is new/
Yuppie Psycho is a weird horror adventure game with some puzzles and a stealth gameplay. It is very similar to its younger brother, The Count Lucanor, the first game of the developer, but mostly better in all the senses.
Yuppie Psycho setting is very original and unique, the characters are cool, and the story and all the weirdness surrounding it makes it appealing. Then for the art aspect I find this pixel art lovely, specially the cutscenes, and the sound design is very good too, with a soundtrack that set the mood correctly at every moment and some audio effects that will help a lot build tension at many moments.
Finally its gameplay is simple but fun, some exploration to gather items, some puzzles and classical Use-Item-X-on-Y that are not really hard to figure out, and the stealth mechanic all work properly and make the game entertaining.
Then the game included in late 2020 a free DLC with new content that is a very good addition to the game. Some new areas with a lot of content that lead to new endings, wich imho are cooler than the original endings. The DLC extend the game's life for some hours and are a truly great addition, making the game great.
Totally recommended to play, and if you enjoy it, check the little brother, The Count Lucanor ;)
This game is unexpectedly stylized and combined with the soundtrack and artistic cutscenes is a must own for anyone who's a fan of the retro wave aesthetic!
Those who've ever worked at a large, soul sucking corporation where friends are fickle or scarce and people seem to come and go more often than the rising and falling of the tide may actually find the people that work at Sintra Corp and their stories more engaging.
The wacky, bleak story is great and the only glimmer of humanity in sight can be found in the stories of the people who manage to survive this treacherous company and its hierarchy.
The gameplay itself is solid and my only minor gripe was getting the pattern of handling the first boss. Everything else was a mix of combat and puzzle solving, interspersed with dialog.
Bizarre 2D retro game about first working day of our hero.
Cool mx of adventure, stealth game, horror and comedy. If you played previous game of this studio, The Count Lucanor you know kwat i mean.
But this time its not a classic fantasy themed game at all.
Game starts as (un)usual first working day in some huge company, but after little chat with few coleagues it's starting to be more and more obscure. It's like David Lynch shoot a mysterious movie about office building where nothing make a sense. Where almost nobody's normal, most of personal act like a mindless zombies and rest of them is quite odd, obscure monsters lurking in dark offices and mysterious Witch kills people.
Very unique story, nice characters, dark atmosphere, humor, few possible endings. and overaly bizarre experience!
5/5
A very creative and intriguing dark comedy take on the horrors of working for a large corporation. It's like if the Office and the Evil Dead had a baby who grew up on anime. There are moments of genuine comedy, horror and interest as the plot unfolds. While the gameplay itself I found a bit lacking everything else was so well done that I had a hard time putting it down. Very refreshing experience that I hope we get more of.
