Must have series

When i saw these for sell I instantly bought them. i played all the games on steam and enjoyed every one of them. Each game is a part of the story that follows kiryu and his friend and enemies throughout each game. The story is very well written with humor and seriousness throughout the series and will keep you engaged and entertained wanting more. The combat is fun and fast (Yakuza 3 being difficult combat wise, requires alot more timing and throws) and never gets boring. There are plenty of side quest and minigames to keep you entertained throughout each game and can easily push each game past 30 or 40 hours. I would recommend playing each game in order to get the full story. If you liked sleeping dogs you will like these series of games as they are even more fun. Only con i can think of is it might get alittle repeditive when leveling but that is overcome by how much content is in each game. I would recommend buying this series of games so more companies see players on GOG are worth selling too, plus they are fun.

The best games you've never played

I normally don't write reviews, but this is a series I am extremely passionate about. This is an open-world beat-em-up series with RPG character development, lots of addictive minigames and a very strong 90s Tokyo flavor. This game is also a two-sided coin, as one side has some very deep storytelling with truly moving heartfelt moments. While on the other side having some of the most hilarious nonsense going on with other events. When I first played this series, I was reminded why I love gaming so much. It also renewed the love for Sega I had in my youth. The games follow Kiryu, an orphan-turned-Yakuza who does as much good as he can in the world he lives in. He seems very much influenced by Toshiro Mifune in the various Kurosawa samurai movies he played in back in the day. In the process of cleaning up the various cityscapes based on real-life districts, he gets up to both serious, heartfelt moments and wacky hijinks. I could list my favorites but that would surpass the limits on this review. He is joined by friends that are equally as memorable, like his friendly rival Majima that is like a loveable take on Heath Ledgers Joker or Vegeta from DBZ. Every game features minigames that could easily be a whole game onto themselves, like mini car racing where you customize the cars from parts you find all over the game and race different characters you meet as you play. Another one I love is Cabaret Club management, where you compete against other clubs and hire workers you find in the world. Sega even found a way to make real estate management fun. Every game also has a classic collection of Sega games that you can play in the game. I am running out of characters I can write for this review, but as a lifelong gamer I'll tell you that if you like open-world games you will love these. I could easily go on and on about this series but Ill just end by saying just buy them now, you will easily get your moneys worth in good times and laughs. You can thank me later ;)

A dream come true

This is the most wholesome, action-packed and hillarious series that gaming has to offer. I have accumulated up to a thousand hours playing this series on Steam, and I have been dreaming of the day I can get them DRM free, download the ZIP file, and store them on a hard drive for the rest of my life. And today is that day. If you don't know, Yakuza (now known as Like a Dragon) is a japanese action-rpg series that is known for its melodramatic stories and amusing side-content. What is offered here on GoG isn't the whole package (the newer entries, like 7 and the Judgment series are omitted), but if you are a newcomer, it includes the most important games you can play in order to know whether this series is for you or not. As many others would say, I highly recommend playing 0 first. That one was made primarily for newcomers and is one of the best games the series has to offer. I am so happy that these are finally available on GoG, I genuinelly don't have words. Yakuza is now DRM Free. Today is a good day.

Excellect games!

Don't think about it, just buy the games. They worth it.... A lot. Start with Zero, even if is the newest in the list, I think it's the best way to start in the series. Enjoy

Played Yakuza 0

I have these games (and like a dragon) on Steam as I used to game skins in CSGO, anyway I seen this collection finally available DRM free here and instantly bought because I played Yakuza 0 and loved every minute of the silly, serious, outlandish gameplay and story. Tracking the streets of Tokyo, Japan is extremely engaging and enjoyable. You will meet many characters along the way in this fantastic game and it only makes me even more excited to play the rest of Kryu’s story. If you like engaging fighters with tons of replay ability and many games as well as a really interesting story check out Yakuza 0 and you will be hooked to get the rest of the games so might as well get 7 fantastic games for under $35 where each one gives you at least 40 hours of fun and enjoyment! *** not so much a review of the game but more of an encouragement to check it out and support more companies to bring games to GOG and enjoy and amazing experiences while doing it!!!
