Worms Forts: Under Siege

This isn't Worms. Its an abomination.

I really liked Worms Armageddon, it was a blast to play with my friends. Worms 3D was ok as well. Never understood, why they forced that 3rd dimension into this well working concept, but it was still fun to play. But here, a mechanic was introduced that made no sense at all and was no fun to play: stationary towers. They were more powerful than the normal weapons, but not so powerful that they were actually fun to use. (Let's be honest, one important part of fun with Worms is the massive destruction caused by banana-bombs and the like...) It's not worth it, just get Armageddon.

Yes it's something new .But not that good,it had good idea and that novelty of making building from which u get some specific weapons allowed to use and it's not like u have all same building but it all spins about that making it constantly same and u just not feel play worms then much more ' tower shooting game' ' ( u can pick also different cultures with specific weapons and architecture of buildings ) ...Anyway it's maybe just worth playing to see that but be honest with worms it was always about m u l t i player or playing with your siblings in same room. So simple as that it's totally something diffrend from what u experience with past worms sequels ...( apologies for bad English )

I was personally never a fan of 3D Worms and this was pretty much the beginning of the end for Team 17's credibility as a developer. They churned out far too many 3D Worms games that added or changed far too little for the sake of cashing in on the Worms name.

...For GOG to release Worms Armageddon, which is the peak of the series, then all repeating itself with less and less options and fun. Trying to push 3D into a game with mechanics so well suited to 2D gameplay, is just making it clumsy and too demanding to be fun.
