Worms Armageddon

The best Worms game for sure.

I'm told this game has aged a lot better than World Party due to updates. I don't know if GOG ever got those updates, it doesn't feel like it, the resolution is hardlocked in the menus and whenever the game changes the resolution (I.e. when starting a match) the entire screen glitches out as if the GPU was broken, it stays that way even if I restart the device.

I have unironically playd it for more than 20 years. Call me a no-lifer if you will, but this game is fun.

Not only is this one of the most beloved games in the entire franchise, it still receives updates and has an active online community. Other games in the series - even more recent games! - don't have this. Absolutely worth picking up at full price, though keep your eyes peeled as the game is frequently on sale for $2-3.

So many memories. Just picked up worms2 and WA. They are both just as remember them. Trying to dust off my roping skills it’s been a long time! There’s still some people online but would be great to see some more ropers back in the mix. I do need to figure out the resolution to fill my monitor better but everything works as it should and even has recent patches. All time favorite game. Wish they would just make a roper version specifically for next gen.
