The Wolf Among Us

I played this back when it was released, when I was just a teen. I found the story in general to be quite interesting and fun, but never thought too much of it. When I saw it was on GOG, I wanted to play it again out of nostalgia and now I like it even more. The world building is great, characters are really good, especially Bigby, and the art style is perfect: I have never read the comics, but visually it fits the world and tone like a glove. If you have not played it yet, I highly recommend you give it a try at the very least, especially for how cheap it is nowadays even at full price. I hope it gets a second season soon.

I find it to be a very engrossing story -- sure there are some QTE's, but it's usually not too tricky. Just a little mental exercise to make sure you're still paying attention every so often. But that's not even needed, because I just enjoy the storyline of this. Makes me think I need to check out more TellTale.

Really good if you know what to expect. It's more a movie than a game. But in a game-movie category this is top. It's like empowered visual novel. You should like storytelling. If you don't - you would be dissapointed and you will write that this is not a game and give it 3 or less stars. And it won't be fair. The art style is great, the music is great (amazing intro), the story is great, the characters are great. What do you want more? The main character... Bigby is so cool that there is not enough words to say it. Just play and watch. He's like Clint Eastwood in his best roles. Bigby, can I count on you?

What this game lacks in actual gameplay (limited to walking around and QTE, limited options to change outcome of the scenes), it compensates in great storytelling. The art style really fits the comic book atmosphere. If story is what you come for, you will have a good time. Don't expect good gameplay mechanics as well.

I really liked the characters, the mood and the music. I would probably say that there is no gameplay , but I'm here for the story. Sometimes I didn't have time to choose the option I wanted, but it was rare and not a big problem. I recommend this game to everyone. Especially if you also liked The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series
