Fun dungeon Crawler
This is a Blobber without tile based movement. I usually prefer tile based movement, but I am enjoying this one.

Highly recommended for Wizardry 8 fans
The game reminded me of Wizardry 8 a lot. I don't even know how I missed this game, but finishing it now has been a blast. Multi-classing, six layers of magic, quests, huge and intricate dungeons. Your party will be truly unique: rats, elephants, lizards, boars... And the ending is guaranteed to make you smile. So what are you waiting for, adventurer? It's time to conquer a new world and experience an unforgettable story! ✔️10/10

Nice game
Yes, this is a slightly dusty RPG gem, coming back from the past to haunt me. ;-) Meanwhile, I am 10h+ in the game (WIN 10). I give a 4 star out of a 5 star rating based on the fixable issue with the towns and gates. (Please see other Reviews / Forum). - This should really be fixed with the next patch, please! - So far no mouse issues, but after installation the computer asked me to activate a windows feature called "direct play" (if I recall correctly) because the game would otherwise not run properly. Eventually, I did as requested. Since then, I am enjoying the game, after spending quite some time rolling the characters (the game manual contains several subtle but relevant hints). What I especially like is the seemingly ever-present, little spark of humor, e.g. when you encounter the obviously evil snake man after leaving Valeia right after the start or when the stout (dwarf) asks you to bring a rat-pie (!) to his brother in the crypt etc. You can also switch between continuous and round-based combat, which is helpful. So, if you like classical RPGs with good atmosphere, a nice story, some puzzles, the ability to swim, dive, die (potentially to drown or to be killed by monsters) and ride (yes, you find a horse early on) AND if you feel you are up to applying some first aid measures to the currently available files (fixing the town-issue) - consider giving it a try. So far from my side: Thumb up!

Old School Goodness
Like the title says, old school goodness. Never played it back in the day, so not nostalgia. It simply is a good to great CRPG. If you love dungeon crawlers, you'll love this.
