this is old school alright .....

has some good rpg elements for the era, that you can really sink your teeth into, but the see-saw-LOPSIDED initiative coupled with your teams repeated "1 point of damage" barrage (didn't they get the memo? 1 pt of dmg was outlawed in the 80s) made for some really annoying 40 minute battles that easily went south 32 minutes in (oh no, not another almost-over-single-creature-1st-initiative-triple-attack for 47 dmg ..... npc team member only came w/61 pts). Sorry but this game reminds of why the good old days were better left behind .......

A Gem ... but Impossible to truly enjoy.

I'll be brief, because unlike this game, i am hoping YOU dear reader have a life [Tech] Runs Poorly and lacks Customization [Gameplay] World is Big for the Sake of being Big, Undetailed and short draw distance Levelling system only gates you from good spells, taking away a lot of tactics and thus inserting either frustration or boredom in the Early Game. On the opposite, the enemy is always at your level or higher, making levelling up less rewarding, decreasing its effect on gameplay. The Combat is slow and built on a confusing system of statistics that make the game horrible, as you lfeel forced to min-max, instead of roleplaying. For 0,89 Euro? Sure For 1,79 Euro? Maybe ... but there are better options out there For 8.99 Euro? NOT A CHANCE! Praise the devs for what they have done tho, it's really impressive.

Simply does not work

I really want to be able to like this game, but that's kind of impossible at the moment. For some reason I was able to run it with some speed mods, but then out of nowhere, it just can't even launch. Something similar happened to my friend, so I can say with some confidence that it is not all that rare of an issue. Unless they somehow fix it, which I'm not going to hold my breath over, I really can't recommend this one. And it's really unfortunate because I wanted to tell a spaceship to go fuck itself.
