The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Blood and Wine

This DLC is so good, that I feel guilty for only having paid 20 euros for it. PRO: - Beautiful new and vibrant world to explore, with new characters , types of monsters, weapons, horse armor and an entire new Gwent set (god I love Gwent)! Resulting in 40+ hours of gameplay. What more do you need? - Changes in the game's details. The people of an abandoned site who don't just barge in as soon as an area is liberated, but they come after a day or so, for example. The voice acting of NPCs is also less repetitive. - The inventory screen has received a cool overhaul. As well as the HUD. - New atmospheric music. CON: - Nothing so far. Conclusion: CDPR looked at every detail they could improve from an already great game and made it better. That's why you should buy this DLC.

First, I must commend CDPR on a job well done. Blood & Wine is perhaps the finest piece of DLC I've yet to experience. Not only is the add-on simply astonishing in the amount of time you can have a go at, but, it's also the most beautiful addition I've ever purchased. The new land areas are amazingly vibrant. The beautiful hillsides and valleys and lush forested areas, the blaze of colors in the garb of the townspeople, the additional horse armors and Witcher weapons and armor, simply amazing. The voice over work is, simply put, astonishing. Every actor I've come across (NPCs) just flows so well, so natural. There's a complete immersion factor happening when you can get voice actors to make it seem like it wasn't work, but a natural extension of who they may be. There's no stilted garbling or off-kilter dialect. It all works wonderfully. The DLC adds a variety of new mobs and enemies and it has been a pleasure to, most times, attempt to slay them. Varied enemy AI and new move sets for enemies makes it a nice challenge. I haven't always been successful but that's the fun in it. New enemies come faster and harder it seems as well and they won't hesitate to flank and surround you. Staying on your toes, doing your research, is paramount in this DLC. Without a little light reading in the bestiary you may very well find yourself hitting the "reload" screen multiple times. The added weapons and armors make monster slaying only slightly easier but it's all good having a good go-round attempting to do so. Running an all AMD system (dual Sapphire R9 290s, AMD FX 8350 BE, etc) and not a single hiccup so far. No crashes, no delays in loading, just smooth 60fps gameplay. I've got 16 GBs of RAM and the added horsepower doesn't hurt when cranking the game to Ultra. If you're on the fence I'd suggest you not wait, but jump right in and give it a go. For what CDPR is asking for the DLC I'd say it's criminally low. In my book, one of the finest DLCs ever created.

After finishing wild hunt i didn't expect of anything greater. Such an interesting twisted storyline with massive character development, it holds you breathless from the very beginning to the end. And the most astonishing thing is that both DLCs are equal or better in some ways then the original game. It has never been so sad for me to say goodbye to fictional world as it was upon finishing adventures of White Wolf. Anyhow this series is must be played at least because it introduced a new modern RPG standard. Cheers!

Other game developer companies sell DLCs for prices which would be normal for a full game. CDPR sells complete games called "DLCs" for prices which would go well for a DLC. Long story short? I can not thank CDPR enough, for giving us, the players, so many experience-filled and happy hours! Big thanks for my Polish friends! ^^

Stop fooling us, you make a AAA game and call it a DLC!!!
