This game teaches you next to nothing. Further more, the performance in game is an absolute slog. I know for a fact that it isn't my specs, because the slowdowns only happen when you are on the game board. It's almost like they intentionally attempted to make a fully un-optimized game. Just goes to show that you should never give a prime gaming freebee a shot. -1000/10, developers you need to find a different job.
The game has several issues with its UI and keybinding consistency. For example, there's a language settings screen at the beginning, but the only option is English. Some dialogues can be skipped, others can't.
The caracter controlls are sluggish and clunky, the camera in cutscenes seems confused.
The board/card game mechanics are interesting, but the rounds are slow.
The hub world you have to traverse is more or less completely disconnected from the board game.
The board game part has potential and could be a lot of fun with further optimization, but everything else feels unfinished and unnecessary.
Card and board type games are one of my favs, but this game sadly is not going into the play pile. It's a slog trying to even get to the menu screen, everything is so slow and delayed. Then when you start a game, all the actions are slow to resolve the turn. Like super slow. Theres a cut scene that you can skip, and even that takes about 7-10 seconds to hold down the button and skip it. I dont know why everything is so slow. Imagine if you were playing Balatro, or Slay the Spire, and each time you played your hand, it took 30 seconds to resolve the turn after pressing enter. Unfortunately, I didnt even get through the first tutorial round, It took forever to get to the 4rth round as is and did not want to sit through the rest of it. Oh well, cute graphics though, but that is about all it has going for it.
