Great nostalgia - Mediocre Game
Atmosphere and nostalgia are the real draw here but the gameplay and interface is mediocre at best.

Horrible RNG
Really make you wonder sometimes. You can have a level 7 hero with mulitple artifacts and a stack of Archons, going into battles with several point multiplier advantage against stacks of base tier units and be humbled. Happens far too often to just be RNG. Also, enemy towns seem to pump out stacks of 8 varied units every turn, even towns where there is no unit production possible after you occupy it. So yeah, the game is rigged but it gets more than one start because it does still run.

A life-consumer
I still remember all the things I sacrificed for this game: my job, my marriage, the girl I loved, my betrayed and abandoned friends. In the name of what? Warlords 3 of course!!! Ha ha ha!!!
