Nostalgic
The graphics and "wonkiness" can be a very high bar to clear for new players, but with the price it is definitely worth trying at least once. It is an old-school RTS, with the extra charm of adding some mild RPG elements

Nostalgic and Fun
Unlike most games, Warlords seems to pride itself on being as unbalanced as possible. Every race has their own positives and negatives and it's through pushing everything on the positives that you'll find yourself winning. The nostalgia comes from trying and succeeding in building your overpowered character to the point where you can beat every map within the first five minutes... or you die cause the enemy has their own overpowered warlord after your ass... nothing is more frustrating than having an assassin just saunter through a barrage of units and one-shot you...
