Welcome to the dark nightmare future of the 41st millennium, the grim era of the Imperium. The battlefield is spread across a thousand different worlds. Powerful armies of Space Marines, Imperial Guard, bestial Orks, and the T'au Empire are in constant conflict, unleashing carnage via mechanical war machines, crushing artillery, and vast starships.

Fire Warrior follows one day in the tumultuous life of a young T'au warrior who must battle alone against a force that shows no mercy: The Imperium. The T'au will soon learn there is a darker foe at hand and become entangled in a frightening story that leads them through an ongoing war.

Mediocre at best

Sometimes you can't hear what characters are saying, not always able to read it either and the controls.. mouse acceleration makes a lot of fights annoying.

aged better than youd think

it's a solid entry in the early 2000s shooter genre. comes with regenerating shields which was NOT a standard feature at the time. Without all of the baggage of "being the first 40k 1st person shooter" and "one voice in a crowd" of early 2000s shooters, it's actually got legs.
