Solid, gory, retro-like shooter
It has its fair annoyances and a couple of non-game-breaking bugs, but overall it's good old-school fun

A Blast of a game
Boltgun knows what it is and doesn't try to be anything else. For that reason its great fun to play. Haven't finished it yet but I suspect I'll be wanting more coem the end, but because I'm enjoying it then I can always replay.

Among the best
I love "boomer shooters" and this is among the best. The guns feel weighty with nice crunchy sound effects. Level design is okay but can at times be confusing, needs a map. That is a small gripe in what is otherwise a flawless game.

Excellent "back to basics" shooter
Very enjoyable movement, clear visuals and excellent sound design. Very true to Warhammer 40k visuals and atmosphere.

Great Retro FPS
This captures the feelings of the Retro FPS games of the 90/early 2000's while having the high speed and intensity of modern FPS games. Mechaincs are perhaps too intentionally simplistic for the most part, but the game is great to jump in and out of. I will however deduct due to lack of a map or the ability to aquire a map, its a problem because areas are samey and corridors blend into one another.
