Description
Vertical Drop Heroes is a procedural platformer RPG hybrid with roguelike elements, where your hero adventures through randomly generated stages. Armed with a variety of skills and traits, you must use your cunning and reflexes to survive the dangers of each stage, until you face the final boss and uncover the truth behind the game!

Vertical Drop Heroes features randomly generated stages, enemies, and bosses, resulting in a very replayable game, all coded and drawn by one person in that unique Nerdook style. Bring a friend and try the split-screen local co-op or play multiplayer games over a network.

Controller support: Vertical Drop Heroes HD fully supports the Xbox 360 controller.

Multiplayer notice: The multiplayer mode is only available for the PC version at this time.

addicted

Addictive off the bat because killing the bad guys is fun, but once you start playing with different strategies its hard to stop playing. I stopped playing this game for 2 hours and 22 min to go see spider-man... I wont make that mistake again.

The simple, the good ... and the fun!

just a lot of fun! Simple gameplay and very well applied, is really cool graphics and a challenging game. And the best: call your friends for a beautiful co-op! Recommended!

no ending?

I beat ten levels and get into a "holy sanctuary" where the background art features a challenge ("prepare to die!") from what I assume is the final boss. But nothing ever appears in the room; I just sort of wander around aimlessly until I commit suicide out of boredom. This does not count as finishing the game for purposes of weapon unlocks. What's supposed to happen? Where'd the ending go?

Addictive and great value for money!

Fantastic game, great value for your money and super addictive. I have not been able to stop playing, i hope i can for the sake of my work day. Dont be fooled by the cutsey graphics - difficulty is brutal...
