Beautiful locations with a lot of detail and backstory
Ambitious storyline telling the fate of ancient race
A beautiful 3d world, with a complex backstory. Be warned that some of the puzzles are very difficult!
As a Linux user, it is often hard to find goood 3d games, but this one runs fine under Wine.
The story line is fascinating if you like archeology and ancient lost civilizations. And the graphics are truly incredible! The online version is free with a few added ages and puzzles.
Beautiful worlds with a fun, new free roam control style that differed from the previous titles. Not much of a story, imo, compared to earlier games but that has a lot to do with this being an online game that was turned into a single player game. Despite that fate, it is still a great Myst game, if you can get past the bugs. It still suffers from the same bugs that existed when it was released in 2003. Some of these bugs cannot be fixed without making changes to the game itself or without using an outside program (such as the Gahreesen jumping bug). Overall, this was a great adition to the Myst family, but only if you are willing to deal with the, still prevalent, bugs.
