somewhat weak
The game is based on an interesting idea (pandemia/conspiracy ) but falls short in a lot of ways. Biggest letdown here are the riddles: they are in general much too easy and the riddle density declines rapidly after chaper 2, Also there is no increase in difficulty as you progress through the game, as it should be in a decent adventure. As a matter of fact, the last chapter has almost no content and can be finished after a couple of minutes. The story has similar issues: it starts promising and kind of slow (especially chapter 2, which is the most fleshed out of all chapters, does barely advance the story at all ). But is very rushed and predictable towards the end. The few twists it provides are cliche and implausible. Another thing that annoyed me was the annoying main character. A lot of otherwise good adventure games suffer from an irritating main character and Unforessen Incedents unfortunately is no exception. I guess the developers' intention were to create him as a funny, kind of quirky but still lovable nerd, but in fact Harper ( the main character) is just a totally uncongenial cry baby, that is constantly begging for attention with bad jokes (this is just my personal opinion, maybe you like his humor) . In total, I cannot really recommand this adventure. It feels more like a student's project, that run out of budget/time after a certain point than a professional game. If you like the art-stlye and enjoy easy adveture games, this one might be worth a shot, when it's on sale, though,
