Just started to play and everything is ok except... Why the protagonist is not voiced?! What a shame. It was so cool listening heroes' dialogs and monologues in all other their games and now... Disappointment.
I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who dislike this "game". When I'm saying my opinion they call me a troll... You know when a developer is a butthurt when he's crying on his page for some negative criticism. The only games I liked by them are Resonance and Primordia and those 2 are not developed by Wadjet Eye, LOL, they've just published them... And this tells a lot. At least those 2 had some good puzzles in them, they respected our intelligence, especially Resonance. In my opinion Dave Gilbert (fake Ron Gilbert as I use to call him) is doing the opposite thing from what the classics point n click adventures did. His development philosophy is the total opposite from the developers of the golden era of adventures. He can't realize that AGS engine has not been created to just make choose your own adventure visual novels, it has been created to make puzzles and gameplay first and all the rest comes next. You can't use AGS betting on nostalgia (he has a good pixel artist in his team indeed but that's not enough for an adventure to be good) and just make stories simulators...AGS is not a FUCKING story simulator engine and it's a disgrace and disrespectful using it like this. There are 3 ways to create adventures game:
1) if you want story focused adventures just create your own engine (if you have the balls) and make story adventures like Telltale did, 2) You just make a good oldshcool adventure with puzzles, items, characters etc. etc. 3) You make an rpg-ish adventure in the style of Quest for Glory or Hero-u. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY.
My biggest objection here is about the blind Wadjet Eye fanbase, OK I understand that Dave Gilbert can't make proper adventures games and he likes to make story driven situations foremost, no one has a problem with that, we have democracy after all and he can do whatever he wants. But when the retarded fan base label him as the "Savior" of adventure games and other retarded labels then this is beyond me and they trying my patience.
