This is the 2nd half of the "Umineko When They Cry" sound novel series, featuring episodes five through eight. The answer arcs will teach you many things, but solving the mystery of the epitaph is still up to you.

Welcome back to the world of "Umineko When They Cry." (When Seagulls Cry)
Welcome back to the Rokkenjima of October 4, 1986.

You have once again been given a chance to catch a glimpse of the family conference held annually by the Ushiromiya family. The remaining life in the old family head who has built up a vast fortune is very slim.

To his children, the greatest point of contention at this family conference is the distribution of his inheritance.
Everyone desires all that money, no one relents, and no one believes.

Who will gain the old head's vast inheritance? Where is the 10 tons of gold that the old head is said to have hidden? Can the unnerving riddle of the epitaph which is said to point to the location of that gold be solved?

In the midst of this, a suspicious letter is sent from one claiming to be a witch. The presence of a 19th person on this island, which should only have 18, begins to hang in the air.

Brutal murders repeat, and unsolvable riddles are left at the scene. How many will die? How many will live? Or will everyone die?

Is the culprit one of the 18, or not?
Is the culprit a "human", or a "witch"?

Please, enjoy this isolated island, western mansion, mystery-suspense gadget of the good old days to the fullest.

A great sequel to a great first game.

Chiru had my favorite Umineko episode by far - Episode 5, it just stunned me in every aspect and I loved it, especially the addition of Erika Furudo, an extremely entertaining and great character, it had everything that made the first Umineko great but focused more on the characterization, and that's no problem for me since I always enjoyed the characters more than the mystery, I loved every new character like Featherine, Erika, Dlanor, Wilhard, Lion, Claire, and more and the returning characters like Beato, Battler, Ange, Lambda, Bern and the entire Ushiromiya family are just as good as I remember them, improved and fleshed out even more, although I did enjoy the first 4 chapters over the last 3 chapters of Chiru, Chiru is still an amazing VN in it's own right.

Really, A MTG Reference!?

Reviewing Unineko Answer Arcs is pointless, because if you have played through the first game, you're addicted and will buy and play this. If you haven't played the first game, you really should check out that one first. Positive: Umineko Answer Arcs will quench your thirst for more Umineko games left from the completion of the Question Arcs. Negative: This game will suck away a huge chunk of your free time, but in my case, it's not like I've got anything better to do. Aaand as a bonus, it's really good.

My Favorite Story Of All Tme

If you've read the "Question - Arcs", then this is just a continuation of that. I don't write reviews, but I've never enjoyed a story as much as I did with Umineko. I loved the characters, the dialogue, the jaw-dropping plot-twists, and the music.... My god... the music is just incredible. Frankly, this is an obvious purchase if you enjoyed the "Question Arcs". And if you enjoyed Higurashi at all, then you owe it to yourself to give Umineko a read. I've read all the incredible Witcher books and watched unbelievably good TV shows like "The Wire" and "Breaking Bad", but reading the Umineko VNs was the most fun I've ever had in video games/books/movies/tv shows/media in general.

A superb VN and a unique experience

Umineko makes you cry, laugh, hate and love. The bizarre but simple murder mystery around an obscenely rich and completely disfunctional family ended being way more than that. The core arcs here reviewed, in particular, is especially hard; when you understand the whydunnit and get a glimpse of Beatrice's heart your perspective about the entire game changes radically. It's truly an experience that you have to live.

The second half of a wonder

Some call it a sequel, but I think both parts are integral to the story, dunno why anyone who read the question arcs wouldn't read this. It took me quite a while but it was very well worth it. When I sat down with my headphones for hours over the course of a few months more than 5 years ago, I didn't read a novel, I visited Rokkenjima and the Ushiromiya family, and as I delved deeper into their personalities and mysteries I enjoyed every second.
