Description
At the beginning of your epic adventure, a mercenary mission takes you to the far north - but you’re also following up a mysterious lead at the same time – the first clue you’ve been given since Kyra’s disappearance. You're shocked during a meeting with the delegates of a dark Brotherhood - your sister’s kidnappers are indeed after your family’s relic. Whether there’s any truth in your family being the chosen ones or not, the others obviously believe it - and if you ever want to see Kyra again, you’ll have to act swiftly. Good intentions, bad realization.

The game is terrible. I've spent HOURS trying to get rid of the commands. The melee system is awful - the Morrowind's combat system that allowed you to move to choose the attack type seems smart in comparison -, the menu bars are all but intuitive, the camera always look in the wrong direction. There are TONS of things to say about this game, but I'd need to stop, think and write a half-book about them. Not worth my time.

Pure Brilliance.

Whatever hope Oblivion, Gothic 3 and others ha of draining the epicness of Gothic II, Two Worlds is the only one to actually accomplish it. Amazing, beautiful world. Really addictive to item manage and get more powerful. Towns reminiscent of Gothic II and Morrowind. It's the old school RPG with next-generation visuals. Cannot wait for Two Worlds 2, and I jumped at the chance to buy this! Thanks gog.com for another amazing release. :)

Better than Oblivion

This game is better than vanilla Oblivion. Vanilla Oblivion SUCKED with promises of things that should have been added but weren't. The story sucked, the oblivion gates double sucked (not another stupid gate!), the look of the characters sucked... Yes, Two Worlds suffers from awful dialogue/voice acting, but somehow it strikes me as...amusing rather than annoying. It's sort of a bad-ass story/character with the developers covertly winking and giggling in the corner and letting us know how silly it all is by continuing to make it stiff and serious. The classless system is gold. I love being able to make potions out of very nearly everything. Yeah, I don't get to customize my main character much, but at least he's not an ugly dog (Oblivion) and he has a sense of humor. And he's not a farm boy (Gothic 4 I'm looking at you and your boring-as-hell fetch quests). It's very obvious to me that this game is almost a comedy rather than a serious RPG, which makes me think the devs have a great sense of humor.
